Just as we all have read books that were dreadful, we also have some that are what I like to think of as comfort reading. The books you reach for when you're too tired to follow the intricacies of a new plot line, when you're laid up in bed sick but unable to sleep, or just when you want something familiar to read.
I go back again and again to The Stand by Stephen King, The Road Less Traveled by M. Scott Peck and more. Sometimes I don't read them for a year or more and sometimes I read them cover to cover and then begin again right away. Always, I find something new about them, some nuance I didn't catch before and a lot of that depends on the mood you're in when you're reading I feel.
So what are your comfort books?
Generally i read romantic novels or watch romantic movies, rather you can say i read happy ending stories.
I like that most.
