    Default Creating a big Banner

A client wants me to design a banner with a size of 5m x .5m
Is it ok if I do this in Photoshop and just make it in a big resolution? If I do this in Illustrator though.. i can only do limited things. Please help...

Your first job is to design a banner in Adobe Photoshop maintaining the size. Next finding the appropriate printing machine to get your banner design.

Works better than online ad campaigns

Because most Internet users are bombarded with ads every day, as a whole society has become so used to them people generally do not click on them. Banners and even link ads are losing their charm because many people do not trust an online advertising campaign backed by money. With social marketing, you can provide a more human touch to attract potential customers.

You must use a high resolution and dpi, remember if you print things colors won't look the same as on your screen.

Thats true in web you want to make sure your resalution is 72dpi for web only if you print that will be at least 300dpi and the color you have to make sure for print 4 color or spot color even in web check the color out web colors. thats what I learned

If you're going to print it, make sure that you create a new image at that size and then make sure the resolution is 300dpi at the very least. This would make sure that your printed output would be good

Probably ideal if you create the banner in vector form. So you can resize it as you like.

Why not. Photoshop is a good tool for editing images.

no matter what is the size in original, you should design your banner in inches like if it is 5m convert in to 5" and for banners printing 72dpi and 92dpi is good if you need more detail in your design after printing you can use 150dpi or 300dpi actually matter which type machine or stock you print.
