Google indexing and deep crawl

I have some deep crawl issues that I would like to share with you. My website comprises of 5000 pages and I am looking to add around 500 articles more. I have started working on it but I have a feeling that Google is not interested in checking my articles also. None of my articles have been selected by Google and I wonder how long they would take to index my pages and articles. If I am not wrong then a search engine takes a month for indexing an article. Isn’t it possible for the search engines to crawl all the articles together? Can anyone answer my queries? Thanking you in anticipation.
