I need some help getting my website to rank on google. What do they expect? Does page rank matter anymore? Does anyone know if using PPC correlates to not ranking well? Thanks for any tips.

SEO is what you need to rank in Google. PPC won't help nor affects your ranking in the SERP. PPC can deliver traffic anyway and you can use that while your site is not still ranking in the SERP.
