do you want to know how google search engines work you can simply visit google.com and search for it if your going to create a search engone like google you can simply instll google api that is google source code in your search engine or there are other scripts which can use google's results and show it in your logo

To know google search engine's working is impossible. The success of google is their search algorithms. Publishing their technique makes them less valuable on the market. The api from google is only a small script to make your site search engine. That will not be efficient like that.

For making a good search engine, you should have a large enough database to hold thousands of sites and a powerful index bot which grabs the data from sites. Also you want an efficient search algorithm which help your search engine to get data quickly from your database.

It is difficult to built a powerful search engine individually. Also it is very costly.
