I am engaged!

This package came in the mail today and I am just so excited I could SHOUT all the way to the moon!

My boyfriend (or my fiance :wub: ) has been dilly-dallying for too long... We both know (in our hearts) that we were meant for each other since day one so there is no real hurry for us to get married right?

Now I am in the Philippines, and I've been sending him pictures of what we've been up to here... and I guess he just missed me so much (absence does make the heart grow fonder...)...

Today when the mail came, Ruby and i were so surprised to see this package addressed to me. We decided to open it an hour ago... it was a diamong engagement ring! one solitary diamond set on yellow gold. There was no note. just a return address. I guess he thought words were not important. I tried calling him but I just couldn't get thru...

he's in new york...

no plans yet... I did not even know he had plans of getting married till that ring came in the mail. ^_^

I should be back in the US sometime in September... and I miss him so much already...

I really have no idea what got into him... he knew I wouldn't be back till that time and he suddenly pops me the question (from thousands of miles away&#33...

I don&#39;t know when we&#39;d like to schedule the wedding... but I want it to be a seaside wedding. I would have loved a riverside wedding at night coz it&#39;s more romantic... imagine several lamps on trees and those twinkly christmas lights on their leaves and on bushes (like fireflies)... problem: what to do with the mosquitoes... <_<

It is really a shame that he did not see my face when RUby and I opened that package... :mellow:

We still haven&#39;t spoken though... I was worried but when I called his mom, she said I just missed him (he went out for a movie with his sister) and she was so glad that we are finally engaged and everything. She said she was also surprised when Anthony came home with the ring (she knew I was in the Philippines and she thought he was about to propose to another girl. hahahaha )...

I am quite frustrated that I couldn&#39;t contact him... And it kinda hurts a bit that he has not called me or even asked if I liked the ring...

Maybe I will plan returning to the states at an earlier date. especially since Ruby will be on her honeymoon and I wouldn&#39;t have much to do here then... -_-

omg, he is actually here in the Phils.. so that was why I couldn&#39;t contact him in the US&#33; (he arrived friday afternoon)

So I was already sleeping (was getting beauty rest for ruby&#39;s wedding the next day)... I was awakened because there was something tapping on the windowpane right next to my bed. I got up and there I was staring into his face&#33;&#33;&#33;

When I opened the window, singing started (he hired someone to serenade me) and white butterflies were flying everywhere&#33; (he also bought 100 white butterflies, and had ruby&#39;s 8 year old brother release them into the air when I opened the window...)

Then he asked me if Iwould marry him.. I looked around and almost everybody was downstairs waiting for my answer. Of course I would marry him&#33;

He almost fell down the ladder her was standing on&#33; :wub:

i called his mom just today and told her what her son did the other night and she was just thrilled. :blush:
