Well... I dont know how to describe your style so I'm going to go with unique man. all of your gfx have their own look about them.

I think you need to focus on a composition or just a general aim before you start. Lets say you have a stock with an angry zombie. I'd start by trying to get a dark feel and depending on his expression i'd use effects that are grungy/dark so not to have a zombie with a rainbow bg Always try to get an idea of what your going to do rather than rush in jamming effects wherever they fit.

It looks good and i do like your sig but I wouldn't say unique. It's really (really, really, really, really) difficult to be unique especially on computer graphics everything is copied and one something new comes out it's copied in the next couple days. Wrong area for being unique IMO.

Meh I would definitely disagree with that. Sure you can try to copy someone elses style/effect.. you can read tuts on it.. try to replicate.. but nothing is ever going to be EXACTLY the same. everyone puts their own little style even if they don't try to into designs. Everyone has a different opinion and will do things differently to their liking. So copied.. no.. similar.. sure but definitely noticeable differences.

I didn't mean to imply he had copied someone else. Working with photoshop is the place where you're going to be the least unique or original, if you use brushes someone else will have used those brushes same goes for stocks. I don't mean to diss computer graphics but with so many people reading Computer Arts (yeh it is helpfull) you get alot of the same stuff coming out which means you get similar tuts posted and similar outcomes unless you're incredibly innovative in what you do. A unique twist ,yes, but unique, no, and there is a huge difference between the two.

Also if you consider yourself a 'Designer', (especially graphic), the important thing is to make things work. There's no point having an advert for a zoo with pictures of a ballet. This ofcourse leads to alot of the same things being used for the same type of work, alot of people like manga on this site and because of that I see alot of manga sigs each is different but it's still manga.
