This seems very strange. Someone pays you to create a short URL for your site / product? What is in it for them?

I know nothing about this service, but am honesty a bit suspicious. What is to stop them from changing the redirect URL to one of their choosing after you have promoted it on social media and started getting some traffic?

Or is this a cunning way to sell links while attempting to avoid the dreaded Google paid link penalty? You add the code to your website, but do not control the link?

I see that it is owned by Majon, a web marketing firm. I guess they are using it to help promote their client's websites and businesses. Maybe no different from any other advertising network?
