It just turned 9-11 for half an hour here. I saw two huge blue lights beaming up from the WTC site when I left my friend's house.

I still remember seeing huge smoke clouds from the windows or my school and we weren't informed until the middle of the school day.

Yes, bless all those who fell victim that day.

Oops, I just made a thread about this as well. But it's realllly long and I'm sure not all of you would enjoy reading a four/three paragraph long post on the tragic event of 9/11/01. I can't believe it's been five years! Luckily, nobody I knew was in the towers at the time. But still, to all those 3,000 people, Rest in Peace, and we will never forget you.

My heart will be with all.

In loving memory of those who died on September 11th, send this to 11 people and something good will happen tomorrow, if not, you don't have a heart

In rememberance of those who died on September 11, 2001.
May all of them rest in peace.

It is a sad day in the US today and well although it's been five years, there are some people who still mourn. I saw people at the mall doing prayer services which was weird seeing it there but I guess everyone joins in to remember all of those who died.

It has been five years and I feel sad for all of those who have lost family and friends because of these horrible attacks. I hope that where ever those people are that they are happy.

    Rest in peace.

Almighty God, the past year will be indelibly inscribed in our memories.

We looked with horror on the terrorist attacks of last September 11th.
But we looked with honor on acts of courage by ordinary people
who sacrificed themselves to prevent further death and destruction.

We shed our tears in a common bond of grief for those we loved and lost.
We journeyed through a dark valley, but your light has led us to a place of hope.
You have turned our grief into determination.
We are resolved to do what is good, and right, and just.

Help us to remember what it means to be Americans—
a people endowed with abundant blessings.
Help us to cherish the freedoms we enjoy and inspire us to stand
with courage, united as one Nation in the midst of any adversity.

Lord, hear this prayer for our Nation. Amen.
