Online gambling considered gaming?

Thoughts? I guess a preliminary definition of "gaming" would be playing a game via console/computer or a similar platform. So would a poker site be considered gaming? Or do you guys consider this apart from gaming? Why?

I would consider it gaming as it's spending time on a console, doing the same thing repetitively and truly our video games started with games like poker, they're just... cave man compared to what we have now. With all that considered and especially the addictiveness of it, yes it's definitely gaming.

It is gaming same as slots but I don't know if they think it is on this forum since I am pretty new I can not confirm it for you sorry
