Do chat boxes promote activity or kill activity. What is your thought?

Both..but it's useful for some talk which wouldn't be ''great'' to be post over a forum.

I don't see how it would kill activity. Its definately a good way to get to know each other better and have a group conversation. Atleast thats the way I see it.

Yes Casio, I do agree. But on certain forums, it does kill the activity, but not in this case!

It slightly depends on which you are using it for, it can be a great way to influence members, or not. Some people are social, some people are anti-social.
