    Question Vbulletin to MyBB Forum Merger Success?

    Hi,

    I'm concidering taking 1 or 2 of my foums and merging them into MBB..

    Have any of you merged Vbulletin to MyBB Forum and had success from it? Or was there a lot of hassle..?

    The only problem i ever heard of from such a conversion is the temporary problem of child boards display. But that's fixed easily with some permissions fixes and a change in ACP options. Yet, if you google it, you'll see most conversions are successfull.

    I've done this a number of times and I've never had any problems. It's basically just clicking a "Next" button. As long as you have all your database information, you're good.
