Talking What do you think of Harry Potter and the GOF?

I just watched it two days ago,and I'm sorry to say this, but it was kind of a disappointment, for the storyplot was simply cut into half!I've read the book myself. No Dobby,no Winky,no SPEW,no rumors spreading around about Hagrid being a giant...o_o Aaaw..But anyway,I must say I'm pretty impressed by the graphics in the movie! They are pretty awsome =D At least the director compensate(a little) for the missing parts with some humour..

    What do you think?

Yes I went and saw it yesterday pretty good movie. I really liked the dragons and the other cool effects. Without the effects the movie would really suck. Because the actors and actresses were not that good.
Anyways its a good movie to watch with the effects

To me, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire movie is so poorly directed. First of all, they don't have the magical feel the other Harry Potter movies have. And they dance? And they play rock music? This kind of garbage just makes you want to gouge your eyes off.

Additionally, I don't like the Tri-Wizard tournament. Harry Potter is supposed to be the protagonist that goes against the school and protect everyone. Not compete against others. Plus, everyone was really old. And everyone attempted a British accent.

Harry Potter lost his touch. Nothing more to add to that.

i saw it first day first show. i did not read the book. i liked the movie. i heard that he cut the movie and voldemort isnt that scary obviously.., he was described as one of the most good looking guys. You cannot get the whole description in the book in a 2.5 hr movie length. we have to agree with the compromise the director made. The dragons were amazing and also the lake match. just awesome. better than the previous ones

I personally like the movie but feels that the director had cut too much things out. I personally own a Harry Potter forums and know quite a lot about Harry Potter, this can be prove as I read the books 2-3 over again... for the first to third. They made quite a lot of special effects that I really like..... Hope to see the 5 th movie coming out soon.

Harry Potter was a great disappointment to me. It seemed that 95% of the time, Harry Potter was the only character speaking. Even the other important characters, such as Ron and Hermione, had a much smaller part in the movie than in the movies before. I think Harry Potter 3 was better than this one. This one just seemed to skip too many parts, even though it was on a time limit. If I didn't read the book, I think I would be a bit confused in the story.

owh yeah i was starting to think something was missing from the film it was that they had missed out dobby, but youve got to admit the graphics are pretty cool, too bad they always cut out parts of the book

first of all.., this is one of the longest hollywood movies! if you have to show the whole contents of the book in the movie.., then the director has to release..

    goblet of fire part1
    goblet of fire part2

i totally support the movie. it was pure entertaining and if you are talking abt the other characters in the movie.., for god sake.. the movies name is HARRYPOTTER and the goblet of fire!

Yeah...but if you don't have development of other characters in stories, the story isn't that good. There has to be more than one character in a story. And, seeing as how I don't especially like Harry Potter in the later books, I guess in my opinion, since the movie was entirely centered around him (I mean, they should, but not entirely), I think it lessened my enjoyment. In all the other movies, the movie was centered around Harry, but they at least included other characters.
