    * Email Markting help you in increasing the power of your word by creating a huge social action team (subscribers).

    * Very small cost-per-click

    * Beneficial for customer relation development and to stay in touch with them.

    * Very less scalability effort reuqired; as in increasing the subscribers ten fold no or very less effort is to be done.

    * Help in creating and extenting relationship with website visitors.
    Email Marketing Cons

    * Requires a good tracking tool and database programming to be successfull.

    * Delivery problems are bound to grow as the reciepient list increases.

    * Getting a good newsletter developed can be a time consuming process.

    * Face it: you will be competing with spams from stock tips providers etc., which may make the board members fuss.

    Let me discuss few points against email marketing.
    1) People may not read the mail and treat it as spam.
    2) May cause legal action because of spamming
    3) Email marketing requires constant tweaking to keep your subscribers engaged
    4) ending a quick email to someone may not cost you much more than Internet access, but follow up and maintenance will cost much for you.
