    It shouldn't do unless you move into a real bad neighbourhood and even then I don't think it would.

    It should not have an affect on your SERPs indexed pages in Google [related to PR].

    Some registrars change the nameservers to their own after a transfer causing your domain to get parked.

    You should check the DNS by logging into your new registrar account once the transfer process is over and confirm that they are correct or else it can cause your site downtime.

    i read somewhere and i agree with its not effect ..! but if i takes some time or website down for few downs then surly it will not be good for search engines ranking

    it won't just make sure you keep an eye on everything before process the push/transfer since your website will be down for a while, make sure the down time won't exceed hours or you may suffer

    No! there is no effect on page rank.. page rank depend on backlinks and content only

    There is no effect on page rank if you transfer it perfectly.

    As others have said there shouldn't be a problem providing you are moving to a good registrar and the transfer doesn't take too long.
