use name.com and enter a keyword (what kind of domain you want) like online money or directory and press enter

you will get list of available domains

All domain extensions have an equal opportunity to rank in searches for relevant and desired keywords. .COM does not have priority over other extensions like .NET and .ORG.

This is most likely because .com was one of the first domain extension available, and therefore one of the most popular.

because of the .com bubble..which happened some years ago....now .com domains are hard to find...
