.me domains

I recently came across domains with extensions .me. I am not sure if people are interested in buying them. However I don't think it has commercial value as the domain itself is self explanatory. What is your view on this domain extension.

what is .me mean? Every domain extension have own mean. Such .tv mean domain for tv channel and .com for commercial purpose....but i don't know what is .me extension for...

As far as I know, the ".me" extension is personal domain, and is an attempt to stop people remaining relatively anonymous.

I would stay away from them.

.me ??? a new i have heard......stop people remaining anonymous means that they`ll be providing free advertisement of our site or the`re gonna promote our site from being anonymous to others?

Hmm.. dunno what exactly he means but I guess, he means that it will curb people's anonymousy because it's for personal use and people will share whole of themselves with it.
