I have used Godaddy for several years. I like Bob Parson's story of how he started out making web sites and is not the largest domain registrar in the world. I always get great support, however recently I've been needing a little more functionality for things I'm doing online which really required Cpanel. I had to move some of my hosting to Hostgator for that and I'm happy with them as well.

I trust namecheap. Doing business with them is great. They are quick and doesn't push you with their promotions like GoDaddy

I always use Name.com. I use name because the interface is good.

is there a disadvantage since i prefer to only just use godaddy, whats the advantages if you use name.com to some of your site and godaddy to some.?

The only difference is: you do not keep all your eggs in the same basket.
