How to get listed in dmoz?

How to get my website listed in Dmoz?
I have been try to submit my site to dmoz since last 3 months but have not got any success till now.
Please guide me and share your ideas on this

Thanks to seoexpert22 for the helpful link. Unfortunately, DMOZ is notorious for taking a long time to accept sites. Sometimes they take years to accept even legitimate sites, so I wish you luck!

The reason of not listing or late listing of sites are;

Many Editors are not login regularly
Submissions are not as per guidelines
Many many submission pending in editors account

Some of the tips

Try to submit site as per guidelines (like title, url, description, correct category etc)
Do not submit site many times (submit only once and wait for the approval)

it depends to those editors i think. when you submit sites, its not actually submitting as editors said - you are somehow suggesting them to add.

As we know the value of the Dmoz link, it's surely countable by the google as back links and will improve your ranking visibility in the SERPs, but as you are telling, I have submitted as the guidelines, mainly focus on perfect specific directory, but unable to see that live till now.

As the other Mod member is saying, somehow try to suggest the editors to add that, tell me the way to suggest them, as per their site, just contact information I got and send many mails but same situation like the submission.

DMOZ editors take too long to approve the submissions. I hope they check if the websites are still live before approving. They need to improve the process. Anyone agrees with me?

It takes them a while to approve. In the meantime, you need to wait. If you keep sending your request to be listed, your link will be banned. So wait!
