which tables should i back up

hello freinds actually i was using phpbbfm but it's giving me lotsa problems so i think i should change it so how can i sava the registered members information and posts in my forums which which tables should i back up

how about exporting everything...select all tables and choose export in the select box


I suggest you not to use compability thing if you use same mysql version because you could have problem afterwards...I got problem with auto-increment stuff when I move mine...

well i thought of everything and it's not that eazy i thougt it's too much difficult both of these forums have different table syntax and now i have to do all the thing by hand

right you need to back-up phpbb users all of it and also phpbb posts those are the table names

yes cricket is right you need to backup both of those tables, but may i also add that you must backup the complete thing as well, just in case if you are not satisfied or if there are any probs with your new board, you can always switch back.

What's phpbbfm? Cuz I'm a member at your site and it's got a lot of cool features like radio and all that, are those features that only come with phpbbfm? Or can we get them with normal phpbb, also?

Well, what do you want to do with it?
I don't think this would be very usefull if you transfer it to what ever. Me, I don't know PHPFM, but ok, just make a screenshot of all tables, also give us a list of what you want to do, this would help a lot. And of course don't forget that backing up a full database is still the best way for a backup

no, it's complete boring coz phpbbbfm has lotsa tables and i have modded a different one coz i can't get a good template for it and it is giving me lotsa trouble with it's feature,
and when i tried to restore some of the tables such as phpbb_users it starts giving error coz it can be said both are different version so i have to manually restore everything one by one gosh dat is too boring now i am not going to do this i will figure out some other solution anywayz thnx for the help guyz
and one thing
phpbbfm is fully modded phpbb i think it has got about 400+ mods but don't use it it su**s it has lotsa bugs and the guyz at phpbbfm only provide support to their paid user so using a premodded is a very stupid thing
