Gmail down?

i've never had a problem with google mail but i do get the odd problem with adsense here and there and not able to sign in but it's all working fine now. i do remeber google talk messenger going down once but i'm not sure if gmail is on the same servers or not. Aaron

Well, I just this problem, I think this is normal, people use gmail drive and stuff like that, that overloads the server, we also can't complain, it's still the best Mail client, it has POP3, it has web, it has a lot of space, now almost 3 Gig, AND it's free. Even if it goes down for a few minutes, these minutes won't kill you:wha1:

Like everyone else said on the forums. I also encounter this problems many times when i log into gmail. Yesterday after logging into google spreadsheets, it wouldnt allow me to log into gmail for like 2 minutes.

I only had one time problem with gmail. I can't log in for a day or so, but that's it. Next day, I able to log in to my gmail account. I don't think google will let gmail down all the time, until now I don't have any problem with gmail, and yes sometimes I had a trouble with my adsense account

At this point in time I cannot login to anything that I am a member of on Google. My Gmail says the usual. My Adsense wont recognise my login details, and stuff like that. It is the first time everything google has gone down or I've been unable to login (well to me anyways)

I normally find that it is PeerGuardian or my Firewall for some reasons stops it from loading up so i have to disable both sometimes just to access it but thats not very often.

I'm still finding it immpossible to login. I got in about half hour ago but now I can't! I might just try Thunderbird again. Why would your Firewall prevent you from logging in "Evans"? mine never does. But now that you say it I may disable it and try logging in. It might be worth a shot

Sometimes, firewall can messed up with your internet. I am saying this because I had experience. I can't login to my gmail account, my adsense and yahoo just because of my stupid firewall. Can't remember what kind of firewall I am using at that time. lol.
