Help creating glossy/metallic text banner

I need Help creating glossy/metallic text banner.
I will soon be the new admin of asiankid.org, as you see the current banner is glossy/metallic. I would want to make the same type of banner as I take over but is there any recommendation of what I should use to design? I currently have PaintShop Pro X.
Any suggestions is appreciated.

Umm can you give us an example of metallic/glossy look? like some sorta shinyness glossy you mean ? Other then that i like your current banner =]

If you want glossy/metallic, you can simply use photoshop to apply some effects or filters to get the look you want for your banner, but if you want to go all out with the graphics, and achieve making a photorealistic metalic look get cinema 4d.

first i want to congrats you to being the admin of that.. site hehe anyways.. there are lots of site that could teach you how to do those stuffs.. plus other tutorials might want to help you as well.. why not try gud tuts just click the link.. there are more websites that offers tutorials.. i hope it helps!
