OK, I have clients aking me to make some emails with logos, pictures and all the bells and whistles you can imagine. I need help knowing how to program these emails to open up.
The only thing I can think of is:
Create a huge .jpg with all of the info (images and text) in it and attach it to an email. That would be HUGE though and most emails like, yahoo, hotmail, etc, would reject them.
Any suggestions????? :wha3:

You can embed html right there in the email. The only problem is that if the email client doesn't read html it might end up messy. Then again, many clients support sending content as both html and as text. Thunderbird can, I know, and I assume Outlook can, as well. Lacking any immediate access to it though, I can't say for sure.
Aaaanyway, all you need to do is to write some html code, like for instance a table, and then put it into the text. Just make sure you're writing it as plaintext and not formatted. I hope that helps... I can be more useful when I get home and have access to Outlook.

So I don't have to buy a program to do it? I was looking online and all the sites I found were programs that had to be bought to create these. I also use Hotmail for my email and know that it won't accept an image unless its attached in the downloadable way. I don't mind buying a program if it's a good one, but would obviously rather find a way that has no cost.

Just ignore the message above--I don't know who sent that
I'm playing with the Mozilla download you sent--thanks!
If you have any other recommendations, please let me know.

lol, i think hotmail does accept IMG tags (the way to embed images in html) but you have to turn it on in your prefs.

Hi Guys, I'm getting so frustrated with trying to get this rich text emails to show the images. I am using Mozilla to create it, as recommended on the forum.
A) There is no way to send it from Mozilla
B) When I take the html code, paste it into a hotmail email, send it to myself and then view the email, I get everything except for the image--even the link the image represents works, but I have a big box with an "x" in it. How can I get the image to embed itself within the email?

I figured it out!
I need to put the images on my server and link to them directly from the html in the email I'm sending--kinda like how we get our avatars up here under our names.
