    Default Machines programmed in JAVA?

When I was learning JAVA in school few years ago, I remember doing an exercise for writing code to program a ticket machine. Basically it would give you a ticket after you "give" the money.

This made me wonder if the ticket machines actually use JAVA or not. Does anyone know this?
