Hi Admin and fellow forum mates,

I am theBat$ and I am new here. I saw your ad on rolcub forum and decided to see what your forum is all about.

My idea, well we can always have the USD50 contest but how do we know the 200 post is quality post. Criteria should be as follows.

1. Useful/Informative/Relevant
2. Interesting/Entertaining
3. more than 15 lines or something like that.

Then have the readers rate the post, so the person with the highest score gets the prize.

E.g.

Very good - 3 points
Good - 2 points
Fair - 1 point

So a person who scores around 600 points at 3 or 2 points per post has posted around 200 post! :biggrin:


Of course this is just my idea.

Pretty interesting idea bat, I actually have thought about it but then, it'd be unfair to the international members.

I'm still thiking ways to do it. Let's see.
The paid to post contest is just a promotional tool to keep members active.

I might hire some people to delete irrelevant posts.
I will think about it some more.

Nice post there, theBat$. If there a voting system now, I would have rated you "Very good - 3 points". :smile: However, I agree with admin that it will be unfair to the international members.

Maybe admin should also hold a contest for "Paid to Post Good Posts" contest! lol.....

Hey, Admin must be on to something, here is some more of my suggestions :biggrin:

1. Least word in a post-----------------------> 0.001 cents
2. Ilogical rambling/making no sense-----------> 0.005 cents
3. Posting skewed due to wrong forum---------> 0.01 cents
4. Whinners post-----------------------------> 0.02 cents
5. All of the above COMBO -------------------> 0.10 cents

That could be good. Just my 2cents worth. *just kidding*

Erm, I was thinking of doing a point system where anyone can rate any post one time. If you think the post is valuable, and voted let's say 5 points. The poster will receive 5 points in his account. At the end of the week/month. The user has the ability to convert those points to cash, or purchase some products from our store.

Products might be:
1. bold name.
2. change name title.
3. more PM box.
4. more lines in signature.
5. free hosting.
6. free banner design.

etc..

Dear Admin,

I think that would encourage mature and credible postings. I am just worried the excess work it will cause you to have. But I support your idea. I like my points be redemmable by e-gold, please. :biggrin:

I have yet to venture into the various sub-forum yet but I will and hopefully start posting. Hopefully, I will be able to contribute to enhnace the forum.

That is a great idea, admin. But that would also mean that you will have to step up on the periodical checks on people having multiple identities. Which also means more work! lol...

Running such a big forum will always need hard work and efforts for maintaining the forum quality. So it will not be a person works it would be a group of serious people who know how to control it wisely. Maybe this contest should be ended soon when it's been growing larger. Then we will not see the "top poster" again. Who races for the money with their little post.

And Daniel, that's no problem, I will hire some more workers for my forum to manage certain paid folders.
