    When you slice a file (Using the slice tool on Photoshop) you separate the content into different images. You can then go to File --> Save for Web and Devices.

    You should get an html file and the images. You can then edit it and use DIV's or tables.


    There are also sites that will do this for you. For example www.psd2cssonline.com which converts PSD files into html compliant web pages.
