If it is popular like hundreds using it daily you will need at least the following at the minimum.

Intel Core2Quad Q9300
4GB-8GB RAM (8GB RECOMMENDED)
1TB-2TB OF DISK SPACE, 1 OR MULTIPLE DRIVES. RAID PREFERRED
Dedicated Limit Bandwidth or 15TB+ or
Unmetered Dedicated 100mbps port.

You will also need to optimize mysql , apache and a firewall.
It will also be best for you to run cpanel and configure exim so it does not use a lot of memory. This should help you out a bit. This way there is no lag buffering.
