How to install a vpn gateway on a vps?

Hello guys,
I just want to install a vpn gateway on my vps. The operation system is CentOS. So can I just input yum install openvpn to install a vpn? Or need some more configrations?

use a vps program like openvpn server and install it on your vps, then use a client to acess the vps or set it up manually in linux.
