IMO is PHP, because php is easy to learn and there are many tutorials online that are free. Not to mention the free open-source scripts.

ASP is by far the best language for creating dynamic websites. It is rich in features which leave even PHP far behind it..
And btw, more ebooks are available for ASP then are for PHP or JSP..

personally, out of PHP, Javascript, HTML, etc. I'd be the guy to stick with PHP, its alot like C++ and its very Dynamic.

Which language really depends on your experience with any particular language, and which platform you are hosted on. ALso, how dynamic do you want, server side dynamics and control or on the client side dynamic.

also, out of java, flash, and silverlight, I'm saying silverlight, even though new to the computer world, silverlight will eventually overrun flash as its already cross platform, and if you know VB or C#, then you can make silverlight apps easily.
