Thread: Coding error in templates.

    Default Coding error in templates.

I know using templates makes the task easier, and it is time saving. But I heard that the ready-made templates contain many coding errors and one must do some cleaning. Is it true?

Yes this is true but for the most part... the templates that are free of coding errors (valid) will usually display that they are css, html, xhtml, etc. valid.

    Thanks!

I've never really had much problems with templates because many of the template directories insist on them being validated in the way decipher has mentioned before submission. It's more older ones you're likely to have problems with. Overall I find what's toughest is getting one that will display properly in both IE and Firefox. It's becoming more common to see designers say they don't like IE and don't bother checking the template for compatibility.
