Curious about this so a quick search on Google for "flash decompiler" returned quite a few results, including free downloads.

Just for the record it's not possible to edit the .swf, you need to decompile to the .fla, make the appropriate changes, then recompile to produce the new .swf file.

you can't directly edit a swf file, you will have to decompile it first.

get source file from .swf file.

You don't have source file of .swf then you can use decompiler which converts SWF to FLA and extracts all SWF elements.
