Getting problem in importing SQL DB

Hi,
i am not programmer first time facing this kind of problem, i am changing my hosting and create backup of my SQL databse when i go to import this back i get this error


SQL query:

#1046 - No database selected

i've once encounter this too.did you first drop all the tables before importing it?

i create new SQL DB and then trying to import!,

still i have not found its solution

Are you using phpmyadmin? First you need to select the DB to use. Then import this sql backup file. The error is stating you haven't selected which database to create the table in.

i know only simple term which i use before, i just take backup and then import to new db

this time its not working, i try this also with one new db

make sure it match up the database and the database password.
i personally recommend downloading the xml in the export in tools. i personally help my clients doing it, if you're still unsuccessful. pm me.

in importing of database i never face any kind of problem,

anyways can you guide me related to importing of files xml in wordpress, my wordpress xml size more than 4MB

its bigi size then max requirement, can i import this ?
