all u need is buddy mayb art...
as far as website is concern mayb u can add forums, user login scripts wid asp n all....tht can make ur site look diff frm others...

I personally think a good design is a professional one, or a clean layout.

I don't like the busy things - or when way too many colors are used Just check out some existing websites and you might come across some good examples.
