Hey,
lol. I don't know either. Does anyone know exactly what it is? Also, to save starting a new thread, would anyone mind to adding in if they know of a UNIQUE VISIT counter? As in, instead of counting the hits, to count every unique I.P adress.
Thank you

You can use CPanel to track your website.

Hi!
For example http://www.myfreewebsitecounters.com/....
- choose "hidden".
I have installed this counter on my site - it's really invisible:wink2:
And what? What Cpanel it's necessary to use?

yup, cpanel can get the job done, even if you only want to track unique visitors on your site.
but if you do not use cpanel, you can also use google analytics to monitor traffic to your site, just submit your site to google analytics and wait for a day or so for google analytics to compile all the data it needs for your site.
also you would need an account on google first before you can use google analytics.
hope that helps

About subj
For example:
"...CounterData.com's now got 'invisible' counters available; and there's really not much more to say about it than that!
Simply select the 'invisible' style from the front page of CounterData.com and enter a few little pieces of information. We’ll then generate a small bit of code that you cut and paste into your page and you’re off and running!
Our invisible counters work the exact same way as our standard counters: you add an image to the page and we count the number of times that particular image is requested. Just in this instance it’s a small invisible image versus a large graphical one! (Go figure...)
Then, to check your visitor information, you simply click on the 'Data' part of our name shown on your page: opening a new window full of your count details and a whole bunch more information!..."
And what about cpanel? :wink2:

Hey,
A number of you people said that you can do everything including unique I.P adress and hit counters with cPanel. Would you mind sharing how I could do that because it would be easier than putting a hit counter from another website

hey i know that, okay when you log on to cpanel you would have different sections right?
now there is a section there that says "LOGS" now, the logs section contains the logs of every visitor that have come to your site, with all of their ip addresses recorded.
you can use the analog stats, webalizer or awstats, its a bit awkward though because its not that user friendly at first, so better check it out first.
why not user friendly? well because there are way too many information to look from but the good thing about that is that everything is well organized, it even has piecharts and whatnot to visually explain to you in detail every traffic that have come to your site. hope that helps!
