yes, Adobe is good if you want a professional website and the same time complicated, but if you want a simple and nice looking site you can use online building tools...

I think you better learn some html first or try a WYSIWYG editor where you can just use drag and drop and the site is created in html.
And you can also use Adobe Dreamweaver and other softwares available on net just do a search on google.
