When people say myspace "clone" I actually think that it is myspace cloned. The proper definition of cloned is a copy of or exact copy.

Is that myspace clone an actual "clone" or just a site similar to myspace "Menard"?

'Clone' is not used necessarily in a dictionary definition when referring to cloned scripts. If you want to call them 'wannabes', that would probably be more appropriate.

There is a hotscripts clone and you can see that it is not an exact copy (certainly would be legal problems there) but seeks to offer similar features; certainly scaled down in comparison.
