Reseller hostings or Dedicated server?

I am planning to launch my own web hosting company. I want to know should I buy dedicated server or reseller hosting?

How much money do you want to spend? What support can you give (24/7)? what experience do you have already?

Well, generally I'd agree with Alan. However, judging by your post I would assume that you don't have much experience with dedicated servers (remote administrating a linux box with SSH that is). If thats the case I would _NOT_ rent a dedicated server, the fact that you pay for traffic and the possibility of the server getting hacked if its not managed properly could result in a rather large traffic bill all the sudden..
