What is better: Colocated and dedicated server?

I would like to know the main difference between colocation and dedicated servers.
The company I am going to deal with is called Natcoweb.com.

What would you choose, dedicated or colocation server? What are the reasons of your would-be choices?

Rental prices for dedicated servers have really come down in price over the past few years. Unless I needed a top-end customized configuration or multiple servers I'd go with rental over colocation, it usually makes more business sense. (dedicated server hardware is a depreciating asset)
