Everything depends on the purposes you have. If there is not need in root access - semi-deidcated would be reasonable, otherwise go VPS. This of that but glowhost.com is definitely good and worthy provider.
Sure that the best solution will be to contact glowhost.com support team, and see how fast they will respond, how knowledgeable is their support, etc.
As for me, you will have more advantages using VPS hosting solution instead of semi-dedicated one, a big shared hosting account.
