i live in pakistan..but banks in akistan don"t provide correct information.I READ IN NEWSPAPER THAT IF A PERSON GET A CREDIT CARD THEN HE CAN NOT CLOSE IT.THERE ARE 3 BANKS THAT PROVIDE CREDIT CARD.BUT I DON"T KNOW WHICH IS RIGHT.AND STATE BANK OF PAKISTAN INCREASE INTREST RATES ON LOANS DUE TO INFLATION.I DON"T KNOW NEW BANK CHARGES.

I don't think many of us here are familiar with the banks in Pakistan, since well, I guess we don't live in Pakistan. If the newspapers say so, then it depends on how credible it is. If there are only 3 banks that provide credit cards, then, I don't think it would hurt to give them each a ring and enquire about the credit cards before making your decision.

In order to obtain credit card, you need to be consulted with Bank. Most of the Credit cards can be obtained through Bank account. So, make a bank account and make sure if credit card is available in the bank or not.
