Anybody knows about hub page?

I received a content writing project and one of the things I'm supposed to write is a hub page, and frankly, I don't know what it is. He said that I'm just supposed to write a about the site and the products it sells.

Is there anybody knows about hub page?

Hubpages is much like Squidoo and Bukisa..They let you display ads on your hubpages and thus make money

Hubpage is a mini website. As a mini website these are suppose to be very focused. Meaning that your whole topic may be managing debt but that would be to broad for a Hubpage, instead focus on one aspect of it.
You make money from ads displayed on the Hubpage itself, however ads are only displayed to non logged in users.
