Hubpages is a great site for making money and creating backlinks. Google seems to really like them so there articles rank really well. Basically it is a site where you can publish articles (called hubs) and then monetize them with Kontera, Adsense, and Amazon. You have to share 40% of the adsense but the serp boost they give you is often times worth that small setback.
