Sports Arbitrage Trading
It seems like no one has mentioned this here yet, so I will start the thread for you all.
Sports arbitrage trading is quite probably the best work from home opportunity ever made commonly available on the internet. There is no selling, no recruiting, and generally no need to deal with other people. The time commitment is relatively minimal since it involves several minutes work whenever an arbitrage finding software alerts you to the opportunity, and you jump to action. The biggest limit on who can trade, is simply money. You need to have a relativelyt large pool of cash available in order to make decent profits.
What is it?
Sports Arbitrage is the ability to find two different bookmakers online with a difference of opinion or simply a slightly different expectation on a two sided event. You back team A at the first bookmaker with the highest odds, and team B at the second bookmaker with the highest odds, with the right odds you are guaranteed a profit of exactly known proportions no matter who wins. The profit is a percentage though, so the larger the bets, the more money you make. Notice however that you theoretically can't lose (there is obviously more to it than simply placing two bets). One bet will always lose, and one bet will always win, but no matter which bet wins, the winnings will cover the cost of both bets, and then give you some more back. Thats what arbitrage is.
This has been happening for about 4 - 6 years now (since the online sportsbook industry exploded onto the internet) but has only been becoming maintream in the past few months as companies started to develop automated arbitrage finding software which takes the hard work out of the process (manually sorting through hundreds of different odds on hundreds of different sport games through hundreds of different bookmakers). The most well published software is SureBetPro because it is marketted by MLM...so of course lots of people want you to join up. It is one of the best services though, so worth looking into. Another big player is Zero-risk-arbitrage.com's ArbAlarm. There are several others though, and it would be well worth looking into all of them to find what is best for you, should you decide you were interested in the idea...
http://www.surebetbookies.com has the best run down on sports arbitrage online and it is constantly being added to.
Definately an option worth looking into, but make sure you do just that. Look into it, don't jump in. There is a lot to learn. Arbitrage trading is a skill to be learned, and the profit comes from learning and doing...not wishing or throwing money at it.

Content Management Systems
Curious what content management systems, if any, people use for their sites?
To date I am just using standard header/footer/nav include files and then editing HTML in notepad (no kidding).
Would love a really, really lightweight CMS that allows me to quickly jump between WYSIWYG and code view and doesn't automatically ty to add a bunch of garbage to the page everytime I edit it.
I am thinking about maybe buying editize and just creating my own super simple cms. I am a developer type and don't want a "complete" solution.
Would appreciate any advice/suggestions...
