now a days laptop and desktop price difference is not more so i prefer laptop.
I prefer my desktop because I don't need to worry about charging it and I have way more space to download things.

well, depends on your needs, for gamer that can sit for hours, a powerful desktop pc is suitable supported by a massive coolers that can stand for hours also, but if u need space n a mobile person that doesnt need much program,like everyone said above me, u can use laptop, so many powerful laptops now issued by various manufacturers, u can browse to see the review.
For graphix, games and hard computing i would like to use the desktop computer. but i guess the laptop should be used when your out of home or doing something easy or it wont work well for long i guess
such sites should be promoted as it provide the unknown webmasters a platform to come forward n prove themselfs.

I go through a laptop a year on average. The last one was cheaper, Compaq q50 and it performed well for about 8 months, this is an HP dv7 series with a few extras.
