Thread: Screen Recorder

  1. #1

    Default Screen Recorder

Quick Screen Recorder is a video screen capture, screen recording tool used for recording screen activity into standard AVI video files. If you move the cursor, launch a new program, type some text, click a few buttons, or select some menus -- anything that you see on your screen -- Quick Screen Recorder will be able to record all these and even the sound.

You can use Quick Screen Recorder to develop videos to demonstrate features of a new software, for creating movies used in user training, for tracking the progress of a program that executes for a long time, or for recording the sequence of steps that cause the occurrence of bugs in faulty software. You can also speak into the microphone while recording is in progress to include audio with the recorded video.

FRAPS will only start recording if it detects a program using DirectX running. If it doesn't, the recording won't start.

I've tried WinCAM before, and it's pretty decent. You have to pay for the full version though.

If you want to record a TV channel in you computer that depends on the software you use, usualy it has a record option so you can record that video on your hard disk drive, and if you want to record something plays on the screen but not just a video .. so use Camtasia Studio .. just google it .. you will find it.

Fraps is for games but the one he posted is for actually just recording the screen in general. Try GameCam if you are into game recording, it is great and free without the annoying watermarks. I like screenrecorder gold and use it all the time. It is so simple and easy to use.
