How to earn from youtube?

YouTube!!! didnt know they are out there selling anything..anyways tell me even....i may also make some bucks from it. :-)
till today was just using youtube..

In order to make money, you must have a site from where you sell something. But if you don't, you can still open a blog at blogger.com

Oh, I didn't even know you can earn from YouTube. I guess it's just by advertising or by dropping links to sites where you can directly earn.
