ASP problem

Hello, I've make one simple ASP file and when i run it it'll asking me for dowwnloading a page?. Can any one tell me why it is happen? I've installed IIS also.. but form wwwroot i'll run default file , it'll ask me for usrname and password ? Can any onr tell me why it is happen? Pl. help me.

Looks like you need to check your security setting on your disk, formatted as NTFS maybe? Also check IIS security.

Why dont u use the default server supplied with the VS 2005. That should work again try this.. go to net command prompt then run this aspnet_regiis -i. That should work.
