To begin our discussion on finding the perfect internet based home business let's first make a couple of assumptions. Since the title has the words, internet based, we are going to assume the business we are looking to start will be ran or at least marketed on the internet. Also since the title mentions, something about home, we will also make the assumption that the business will be operated from the comforts of our own home.

Fair enough right?

So what will we be looking for in a perfect internet based home business?

The perfect business would be completely automated, with a great product line and would make us a million dollars a year and we wouldn't have to do anything. If you have a business like this congratulations and you won't need to read any further.

For the rest of us looking to generate income online, we will need to look at many different business models and ideas before starting our internet home business.

By the way, the description of the perfect internet based home business, that business doesn't exist. At least not yet.

Every business will take time to build and if you think it will operate on autopilot for very long without doing anything while producing million dollar profits, I also have some ocean front property in Arizona that you might be interested in.

With this being said, let us look for our almost perfect internet business.

One of the first characteristics we should be looking for is a unique product line. We should ask the questions, Is the product going to be much sought after now and for years to come? What problems will this product solve for our clients, and who will our clients be? Will it attracted the kind of people we will want to work with?

We shouldn't try selling products that have over saturated the market place such as vitamins, lotions and potions. There is just to much competition in these markets and the profit margins are small.

Educational products are easy to produce and easy to ship so I would be looking in these areas to start my business.

The potential to automate at least some of the day to day task of operating a internet business is also another important aspect. The fact that our business is internet based makes automation a much easier task the ever before. With software that can aid in marketing and web sites that can do all the selling and telling for us, not to mention to completely automate the sells, money transaction and shipping process business on the internet couldn't be better.

Automation will help us to completely duplicate our money making efforts. Duplication is how massive profits have always been made in any business whether it be online or offline.

The last characteristic mentioned in the perfect business, is its ability to produce a million dollars. If your wanting to create a million dollar lifestyle for yourself and others, the business has to have a compensation plan/payment plan that can produce these kind of results.

So in closing, it will be up to us to find the perfect internet based home business that can produce the income we desire. A strong business model with cutting edge products, a road to massive profits. A weak business model with old worn out ideas and products, a path to frustration and failure.
