How much income needs to be generated from the business in order for a mother to stay at home. Will the business offer some type of freedom when every day life happens such as picking kids up from school, soccer, doctor appointments, just to name a few. Personal interest should also come into play, is the business something that your truly interested in is a question that needs to be asked? As a stay at home mom with all the distraction that takes place around the home, personal interest will need to be a factor to keep the motivation flowing.

So what kind of time can you spend on the business? Many home business opportunities don't offer much time freedom, that is to say, if your out doing house parties or inviting people over for a tasting, preparation can take up a lot of time and even though these types of businesses are considered home based it doesn't mean you'll be at home.

I would look into network marketing because these types of companies offer a great income and can be run completely from a computer and a phone.

Staying at home can be a blessing for a mom and having a business to produce a full time income or a supplemental income from home can be self gratifying and finding something you truly like to do and getting paid for it, well what could be better.
