1. Make valuable posts or comments in blogs or news sites and drop your link there.
2. Relevant forums
3. Article submission to EzineArticles.com.
4. Social bookmarking
5. Website directories listing - DMOZ.org.
6. Contacting high Page Rank sites (Check with the owner whether you could get a link from their site)
